The real difference
KiDeck talks straight to the stores’ own APIs, from your device, with keys that never leave it. Your data isn’t collected, resold or sent to a service of ours — because there isn’t one. Add an account, see all your apps, get alerted.
Private by design
A least‑privileged key is enough to follow your apps. The few actions that change something — publishing a reply, enabling a phased release, submitting for review, editing metadata — are always confirmed in the app, and are never triggered by anything but you.
Every store
Apps that exist on several stores are grouped under a single name, with one status line per platform.
Microsoft Store, Chrome Web Store, Huawei AppGallery and Samsung Galaxy Store are newer integrations and have been exercised less than the others. Some figures (sales, finance, analytics) need an App Store Connect key with the Admin role.
Follow
Open an app to see each platform’s status, live and submitted versions, ratings and downloads — then the reviews and the tools that belong to each store.
Live version, latest submitted version, and how long a build has been in its current state — for every store you publish to. Set how many days in review is too many and get warned.
On the App Store the overall rating is weighted across about 50 storefronts, with the detail per country and who moved since the last reading.
Seven days and all‑time totals, then month‑by‑month bars for downloads and revenue, read from your Apple sales reports and Google Play report bucket.
Track your app’s position in the top 200 App Store search results for any keyword and country. Daily readings, a history chart, and a notification when a keyword jumps or drops.
Signing certificates and provisioning profiles are read from App Store Connect, and you can add your own dates (developer membership, API keys). Reminders 30, 7 and 1 day ahead.
Keep a personal and a company account, or your clients’, side by side — for every store. Each app is matched to the account that owns it.
Reviews
Reviews from every store are kept and merged, so the window the stores expose doesn’t limit you. Each one carries its version and country, and reads in your language.
Filter by stars, app version, country, period or keyword. Every review shows its version and its country.
Reviews are translated on the fly and cached on your device, so a review in Japanese reads like one in English. Switch it off in one tap.
Export the reviews you are looking at — with translations — for Excel, a client, or your own analysis.
Answer App Store and Google Play reviews straight from KiDeck. Every reply asks you to confirm before anything is published.
Bug, refund, pricing, feature request, login problem… in English, suggested by star rating, fully editable. Save any reply of yours as a new template.
KiDeck keeps the rating history for each store, so you can see whether that last update helped or hurt.
Reply templates
For a 2‑star crash report, KiDeck puts Bug or crash, Fixed in an update and Apology first (★). The author’s name and your app’s name are filled in for you, and Google Play’s 350‑character limit is counted as you type.
Keywords
Add a keyword and a storefront: KiDeck reads your position in the top 200 results every day and draws the history. A notification tells you when a keyword climbs or falls by five places or more.
Alerts & devices
KiDeck refreshes in the background when the system allows it, and tells you what changed — on your phone, your wrist, or your team’s channel.
Notifications for new reviews, status changes (approved, rejected, live), a version stuck in review, and keyword moves — without opening the app.
Forward the same alerts to an incoming webhook so the whole team sees them. The address is kept encrypted on your device.

On iPad, Android tablets and the Windows and Linux desktop app, the app list sits on the left and the detail of the selected app on the right.
Store tools
Each store brings its own tools. Anything that changes something asks you to confirm first.
TestFlight, Xcode Cloud, performance metrics, App Store statistics, in‑app purchases and subscriptions, and your App Store metadata.
Tracks and rollout, Android vitals, products and subscriptions, and your store listing.
Microsoft Store submissions and crashes, Chrome Web Store publishing, Firefox add‑on details — with a confirmation before anything changes.
Privacy
KiDeck has no server of its own. It calls the stores’ APIs from your device, and the only other network traffic is optional: review translation (Google Translate, off with one switch), public store data for ratings and keyword ranks, and the webhook you choose to add.
Security
Anyone holding a store key can read — sometimes change — your apps. So KiDeck keeps keys on your device, in the operating system’s own secure storage, and uses them as little as possible.
Each connected account keeps its own key, stored separately. Delete an account in Preferences and its key is erased from the device.
iCloud sync and the export file hold only your list of apps, their store IDs and your keywords. Keys stay where you typed them.
Widgets and the Apple Watch receive app names, statuses and ratings — plus review excerpts on the Watch. No keys, no tokens.
A Slack, Teams or Discord webhook address is a secret too: it is stored encrypted, and only https addresses are accepted.
Every key can be revoked from the store’s own console at any time. Create a key just for KiDeck so cutting it off never affects anything else.
IDs and package names you enter by hand are restricted to safe characters before they are ever placed in a request.
Privacy
A short, complete list. Everything marked optional can be left off.
Requests go over HTTPS to the store the key belongs to — Apple, Google, Microsoft, Mozilla — and nowhere else.
Public store pages and Apple’s public search return ratings per country and your keyword positions. Only app IDs and search terms are sent — no key.
Review translation sends the review text to Google Translate. It is on by default and off with one switch; translations are cached on your device.
If you add a webhook, alerts go to that address — and to nobody else.
If you use iCloud sync, your list of apps and keywords travel through your own iCloud account.
No analytics, no advertising identifier, no crash reporter, no third‑party SDK that watches you. Nothing goes to a server of ours — there is none.
Our commitment
KiDeck has no backend, no account system and no telemetry, so there is very little to attack and nothing of yours to lose on our side. We keep the app that way: no ad or analytics libraries, keys handled only by the operating system’s secure storage, and every write action behind a confirmation. The iOS and Android code has been through an AI‑assisted security review; what it found was fixed, the fixes were reviewed a second time and are covered by automated tests, and we repeat the review for each major release. It is not a third‑party audit, and no software can be guaranteed flawless — so we treat your reports as a gift.
